CITY GUIDE: BROOKLYN

BK: Brooklyn, U.S.A.
📍 Google Maps

Where to stay: Williamsburg
An ideal gateway to Brooklyn, easily accessible from La Guardia Airport to Manhattan. It’s a convenient destination for walking around and reaching deeper parts of Brooklyn like Bushwick.

WHERE TO EAT & DRINK:

Ops Pizza & Wine
A relaxed pizzeria known for its wood-fired sourdough pies and a deep selection of natural wines.
We suggest the Juno: broccoli rabe, potatoes, provola,
ricotta salata & add sausage for that perfect bite.

The Four Horsemen
Reservations are recommended for this Michelin Star wine bar from James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem. Unless you’re willing to line up at 11am before their lunch service, as we did.
They feature small seasonal plates and an eclectic wine list. We suggest sitting at the bar to enjoy the company of the staff as well as their suggestions.
The star dish was the gem clams, complex and a perfect match for our 100% Gamay pet-nat. Ask for bread (not on the menu) a must for soaking up the broth.

  • The Ten Bells
Suggestion: $1 oysters daily, from opening until 7pm.
  • Karasu
Behind a back door at Walter’s, this secrete Japanese izakaya serves sophisticated dishes & cocktails.
  • La Milagrosa
Another hidden bar behind a deli, offer late night mezcal & music.
  • Joe’s Pizza
Always consistent & available when needed after a few drinks.
